Musicologist and folklorist wrote: Of all the elements of music, none excited so many scholars of controversy, gave no reason for more abstract and contradictory judgments than rhythm. His definitions range from metaphysics to technical accuracy, but his general theory is still missing. So you must agree that to buy exclusive beats you need to have thorough knowledge about it.
In theory, there is a narrow and broad interpretation of the concept of rhythm. The rhythm from the Greek - Teke - is a temporary organization of music; in a narrower sense - a sequence of durations of sounds, abstracted from the height. The musical rhythm is organized by means of bars, so the musical time as a unit of size had duration, being a metric time, therefore the tempo is a speed depending on the unit of duration, i.e. one follows from the other and is closely connected with it.
Every sound, every word, like a sound, carries a semantic load, so the rhythm of one person's existence is in contact with the rhythm of another, and then certain relationships arise.
The Structure of Rhythm
Our internal time, that is, our mental time, and with it our activity of feeling, is shaped on the basis of our pulse. In turn, our pulse is determined by the rhythm of the heart: systole-diastole. There is nothing more important in the life of the human body than rhythm. The heart rhythmically beats, complex chemical transformations occur during metabolism in the body. In addition, due to the influence of the rhythm, we significantly save energy by performing any activity, including mental work.
In ancient times it was believed that all organs have characteristic vibration frequencies and correctly selected frequencies of external exposure help restore the body. But also, if excessively influenced by a rhythmic sound stream, and from a physiological point of view, any melody is a combination of harmonic oscillations in the sound frequency range, and then irreparable damage can be caused to the body.
Therefore, it is important to understand the significance of rhythm in the selection of the repertoire for listening, in preschool institutions and in elementary school, so that our students understand and realize both the positive effects of music and the possibility of negative effects.
You can't just hear the rhythm.
The listener only experiences a rhythm when it is produced. The reproduction of rhythm from the psychological side is of particular interest precisely because it reveals with extraordinary vividness that perception is an effective process. It was the complexity of this concept for his students to understand that made me turn to this topic and conduct a lesson in the form of a workshop.
Movement in even durations
Movement of even equal durations is often found in music. And most often it is the movement of the eighth, sixteenth or triple. It should be noted that such rhythmic monotony often creates a hypnotic effect - the music makes you completely immerse yourself in the mood or state conveyed by the composer.
Listen to Beethoven: A striking example that confirms the above, is the famous "Moonlight Sonata". Look at the music excerpt. Its first part is entirely built on the continuous movement of eighth-triplets.
